HOPE Squad is a school-based peer-to-peer, suicide prevention program for students. HOPE Squad members were nominated by their peers as trustworthy classmates and are trained to identify at-risk students, provide friendship, and seek help from an adult.
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide framework that helps create a safe and positive learning environment for all students. PBIS is based on evidence and data, and it's been shown to improve academic outcomes, reduce disciplinary incidents, and increase a sense of safety in schools.
